In this moment

reading... Sophie Kinsella's Wedding Night. Just another predictable good ol' chick lit for when I need time out from reality.

watching... My Kitchen Rules. Why is it so entertaining to watch people behave badly?

buying... kinetic sand. Have you played with this stuff? It is absolutely mindblowing. It's sand that doesn't stick to anything but itself. I spent about 15 minutes playing with it in the shop before buying it for myself (oops, I mean for Alexander).

feeling... somewhat overwhelmed. With a new business to launch and classes to teach, life is just a little bit demanding at the moment.

doing... lots of gardening to prepare for the changing of seasons at the moment, things like planting some winter vegetables and pruning the roses.

wearing... shellac on my toenails. I'm a bit late to join this trend but can I just say I will never go back to regular nail polish again. Ever.

listening to... Alexander singing. (it's all out of tune but very cute).

looking forward to... our trip away this month; we've rented a beach house on a little island. Figured a change of scenery will be nice.

dreaming... of self cleaning nappies and little boys who potty train themselves. Will someone look into inventing this ASAP?

loving... this extended summer. Whoever said summer is over?

What are you up to in this moment?

I love kinetic sand. I've played with it in store and it's so cool! :)

I hope you feel less overwhelmed in the coming days. And a vacation soon :D yay!

I've played with kinetic sand before and it's so fascinating. Maybe I should get some as well ;)

I used to be a huge Sophie Kinsella fan. I still have one or two books that I bought and have been meant to read for years but I still haven't got around to it.

The Sophie Kinsella book must be a fun read. Alexander singing must be so cute. You seem busy. But a good vacation will be really something to look forward to.

Shellac will last months on your toes, you will get bored of the colour before it comes off!! x

I love chick lits. Light and easy. I'm starting on Sophie Kinsella's 'Can You Keep A Secret' soon. ;)

Oh man, as much as I like MKR I HATE the way the emphasise on the petty bs and "mean girl" thing. Why do they constantly have to paint females in this light? Why are there never any pretentious males cast? Last nights conversation though, about making breadcrumbs and baking bread for the breadcrumbs? Seriously? I miss Colin, at least he was calling out BS when people were whining and repeating what the judges said they didn't like

That kinetic sand is amazing!! Never heard of using shellac nail polish, I remember using it on art projects in high school but I'd love a nail polish that took a really long time to wear off! I hope things become less overwhelming for you, it's nice that you get to have sweet toddler sounds and a fun trip to focus on :) :)

The latest season of My Kitchen Rules? I couldn't wait for the latest season.

Kids. They amaze us sometimes. My boy also started to pick up tune and sing to himself sometime. Very funny when think of it.

Kinetic sand is so fun! My niece loves that stuff. I kind of find it soothing in a way, too.

You have to record Alexander singing, if only for posterity's sake :)

I must say my experience with kinetic sand is that it doesn't quite stick together and might stick to clothes and hair and the floor! We only take it out once it a blue moon for C to play with.
