Fab five:facial scrubs

I really do love a good bit of exfoliation on my face, scrubbing away all that dead skin and dirt to reveal radiant smooth skin. But when I first read about the damaging environmental effects of those nasty plastic micro beads, I was pretty devastated. Since then I've been on a quest to find facial scrubs that don't cost the earth. Here are five of my favourites...
La Mav Jojoba-beads & Argan Oil Exfoliating scrub - this scrub contains jojoba beads to gently (and effectively) exfoliate while argan oil soothes and revitalizes. Suitable for even for dry, sensitive skin, my face feels super clean as well as baby soft and smooth after each use.

Burt's Bees Peach & Willow Bark deep pore scrub - with finely ground peach stone as natural exfoliant, this product does exactly what I want a scrub to do; it removes dirt and excess oil, leaving skin with a refreshingly clean feeling and healthy look. Bonus: it smells amazing!

Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermafoliant - for an indulgent mini spa treatment at home, I like to reach out for this exfoliant which heats up on application. The product's fine grainy texture combined with the warmness of the scrub not only makes this fun to use, it is also great for congestion and dry flakiness. Well worth the money and a little goes a long way.

DMS Peeling Cream - don't be turned off by the name, this thicky cream loaded with fine jojoba beads is actually very gentle on skin, removing flakiness and the build up of dead skin cells. Skin feels fresh and new without being too abrasive

The Jojoba Company Jojoba bead & bamboo facial exfoliant - eco friendly bamboo and jojoba beads act as the "scrubber" while Australian ivory clay and shea butter work to hydrate all skin types.  The addition of natural essential oils lavender, orange and sandalwood makes this product a treat to use.

Thanks for the recommendation. I exfoliate my skin twice a week. It feels good and light.

You have a great weekend.

I also put a mask on my face twice a week to clean my skin and pores. The Burt's Bees facial scrub seems a very good product to try.
