Oh, I couldn't possibly go berry picking and not make a blackberry dessert (but you knew that about me, didn't you?)
125g butter, melted
1 cup self plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup milk
1.5 cups blackberries
3 tablespoons raw sugar
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
2. In medium sized bowl, add flour, baking powder, sugar, milk and melted butter and whisk to combine.
3. Grease a baking dish.
4. Pour batter into greased baking dish and add blackberries. Sprinkle raw sugar evenly over the top.
5. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until golden.
