Botanical gift wrapping ideas

Following last week's mad panic, I got all super organised and sorted out nearly all my Christmas shopping. Next up was the gift wrapping part of course. Now I don't know about you but I take my gift wrapping very seriously, it's almost as important as the actual gift itself because it's care about the whole package.

I'd just received my Tiny Prints gift wrap which I personalized with our family name on it. I thought the brown and white paper made a lovely backdrop for some botanical adornments so I spent yesterday afternoon selecting leaves and various pine cones, seed pods I'd collected during walks in the neighborhood. My friend Jen of paPetal had made some colourful paper bougainvilleas which I used to pretty up one gift. The results are as follows...

I would love to receive a gift like this. I have previously ordered with Tiny Prints; they do gorgeous stationary items.
