In this moment

reading... today's newspapers but it made me sad; the world seems like a depressing place to be in at the moment.

watching... The Bachelorette Australia. This first season has me hooked!

buying... new shoes for Alexander. How quick his feet grows, it's ridiculous.

excited about... possibly starting up my own small business. All in the research and planning stages at the moment but will reveal when it looks more certain.

planning... activities for when my parents visit late November.

eating... quick cook Korean potato noodles. Mmmm love the chewy consistency.

listening to... Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake while doing the household chores. Keeps me sane and a really nice break from The Wiggles.

looking forward to... dinner with friends later this week. We will be dining at The Butcher's Apprentice which is supposed to be really good.

wishing... for more patience. Much need for dealing with a toddler who is constantly testing, testing.

loving... the warmer temperatures and lovely Spring flowers.

What are you up to in this moment?

I love Korean jap chae and how easy they are to prepare. I'm in the midst of a fall cleaning and it's quite invigorating.

Yes, reading the news is bad for our well-being, this is why I avoid watching or listening to the news. So exciting that you will create your own business. Hope that all will go according to your plans and wishes.

So excited about these small business plans!!! and holy moly how good is the bachelorette! After many years of going alone in my bachelor/bachelorette watching I've finally got Ben hooked on it too (well hooked might be too strong a word but you know better than nothing!!)

Hi Trishie, I was hooked with The Bachelor but not so much interested with The bachelorette. Alexander must be growing up so fast, running around keeping you on your toes. Wow congratulations on the new business.

Hope you have a good week.

I can't help smiling when I saw what you were listening to while doing the chores. I swear I have the Mickey Mouse Hotdog Dance song in my head right now. I do enjoy watching Sophia the First with my daughter though. (I usually end up the one who's watching it) :) Great news about your upcoming biz. Enjoy the process and all the best and success to launching it.

I wish for more patience too. I'm bad about wanting instant results not realizing things take time and there is a process.

Yup - same. Charles is seriously testing boundaries and refusing to do even the simplest things like putting on his jacket. I think it's his way of asserting himself. The hubs says, "Babe, this is just the start of what's to come."
