In this moment

reading... various Chinese newspapers to brush up on my Mandarin. Why? See below.

excited about... going back to work. Starting this week, I'll be teaching a translation class from English to Mandarin at the University again! It's just one hour per week but it's a great start and will help engage my brain on a more intellectual level.

planning... a short weekender for my birthday next month.

watching... The Bachelor Australia. Yay! It's finally back on. Fee, are you reading this?!

collecting... leaves. Alexander and I have been looking out for leaves in various shapes and colours and exploring the secretly colourful world of foliage.

feeling... quite drained. Have endured several sleepless nights in the past two weeks with Alexander down with a ear infection and croup. He's much better now but we all still have so much sleep to catch up on.

looking forward to... catching up with a couple of friends this weekend and meeting their little baby boy for the very first time.

wishing... I could knit so I can take part in The Guardian Angels Knitting Program. If you can knit and would be interested in picking up your knitting sticks to create some winter woolies for the Kids with Cancer charity, please have a look here.

baking... a black forest cake to satisfy my craving for it. Plus it looks so pretty. I'll share my recipe with you in a later post.

loving... the smell of Spring in the air! This Winter has been pretty dreadful with all the cold and flu bugs we've had. I'm so ready for warmer temps.

What are you up do at the moment?

We actually tried to stream it the other night in bed but it was being all poopie on us :( After managing to get Ben to watch married at first sight, he even agreed to give the bachelor ago *gasp* hopefully we can get it working tonight! I also hope Alexander gets better or is feeling a bit better - I too can't wait for those warmer temps!
