In this moment

reading... last weekend's newspaper, because there's always so much to do and so little time.

excited about... the long weekend coming ahead. Three full days of quality family time with Stu.

planning...
Little A's birthday. It's still three months away but I'm starting to get excited. I'm at the cake selection stage at the moment.

watching... Married at First Sight. Found the first three episodes to be very interesting and am intrigued to know if this matching making social experiment will work or not. It's been very entertaining watching the romance develop/fizzle between the couples.

collecting...
little plates. After a year old self imposed ban on thrifting, I finally treated myself to a trip to The Curiousity Shop at Waitara because it will soon shut its doors forever. Wanted to buy everything in the shop but settled for some pretty little plates and spoons (pictured)

feeling... creative. Have lots of exciting new projects and collaboration in mind. Can't wait to get cracking.

listening to... The Wiggles. Yes I succumbed.

grateful for... the warm mid day sun. It's actually warmer outside than it is indoors for those few blissful hours. Alex and I are always out and about during that time to maximise our Vitamin D intake.

cooking... braised chilli pork shoulder. Bring on the slow cooker.

loving... my ugg boots. I've been wearing them everywhere and I'm not ashamed of it.

Oh my gosh, The Wiggles! I remember my niece was willing into them and would always sing and dance their songs. & it's too bad that the curiosity shop is closing :( From what you purchased, it looks like they have beautiful, quality goods!

oh my goodness, that braised chily pork shoulder sounds amazing! It would be wonderful to have a recipe for that *hint, hint* ;-)

The little plates are so cute. Love mismatched vintage saucers and little plates, they are great as catch-alls, to keep rings and other jewelry, or just to treat yourself to a slice of cake :-)

I've been living in my slippers too! Too cold not too :P It's bitter sweet to go outside and be in the warm sun but then to have to go back inside to a much colder house! Thanks for the heads up about Married at First sight - I know I'm going to be a sucker and love it :P Love your little plates too!!

Regardless of how ugly they are, they keep my feet warm in the winter so yes to Uggs. Always.
