Fab five: eye creams

The one thing worse than feeling tired, is actually looking tired. Dark eye rings, eye bags and puffiness are a dead giveaway and lucky me, I've had all three. The skin around the eyes is thinner than anywhere else in the body so its crucial to look after it with a good eye cream. These five get the thumbs up from me.
La Mav Anti Dark-Circle & Ultra-Firm Eye Gel - A lightweight and refreshing gel; the skin around my eyes feels instantly hydrated and the appearance of dark circles, fine lines and under eye-puffiness is diminished with regular use. A great all-rounder.

A'kin Purely Revitalising Lifting Eye Creme - My go-to eye cream in the summer months, I use this chilled to brighten and revitalize the tired eye area both morning and night.  Skin feels smoother and firmer thanks to active botanical extracts and hyaluronic acid.

The Little Alchemist Anti-aging Eye Complex - I do so love everything about this product; from its silky smooth texture, the way it just glides on my skin to its wonderful light scent. Most of all, I love how it effective it is. The delicate eye area looks brighter and more revitalized with each use.

100% Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream - Fast absorbing and non-greasy, this creamy concoction works amazingly well and quickly to reduce puffiness, thanks to anti-inflammatory, caffeine rich green tea and coffee. It actually smells to me like cookies and cream - was a bit strange at first but soon got used to it. Works really well as a eye make up base so I use it on my eyelids too.

Tula Naturals Organic Eye Serum - Made with a nourishing blend of kiwi, argan, rosehip and comfrey oils, this is not actually a cream, but is a gentle oil serum that leaves my skin soft and smooth. This is the product I use before bed in the dry winter months when my skin requires the extra boost of hydration. I love how rested my eyes look the morning after!

What eye product do you use?

Eye cream is a must for me as well. I'm trying out a La Mer Eye Serum right now but I usually use Amarte Eyeconic Eye Cream.

i used to be the queen of dark circles. i still have them but man back when i was in high school and college it was so bad people thought i was majorly into drugs - like junkie level. lol. but i never had luck with eye creams! i always end up with these white dots around my eyes. real bummers because i would love to incorporate them into my skin care routine!

The other day I was looking in the magnifying mirror and noticed that I'm starting to get fine lines around my eyes, so your post is very timely! I'm particularly interested in the Little Alchemist anti-aging eye complex that you mentioned! If I can find it in the U.S., I think I'll give it a try!

I use eye creams all the time. It's important to lessen dark circles and to prevent sagging skin. I haven't tried any of the brands you featured but will check them out.

Great post. I currently don't have an eye cream. The last one I had was Shiseido. Now I'd like to discover a more affordable product. I'll look these up and see if they're available here.
