It was years ago when I came across these framed objects and thought they were too clever for words. I had wanted to buy them but baulked at the price and then promptly forgot about them. Then last week while tidying up my archives I found them again and this time, felt rather inspired to make a version of them.
I am so pleased with the results, and honestly this DIY cost me just over $10 to make. I love how simple objects can be transformed into wall art. The possibilities are endless with them and can be styled to suit various occasions and themes, like a garden party for example...
Or perhaps a birthday party...
Spray paint (I used high gloss enamel)
Glass bottle that fits in frame
Piece of wood to fit frame
Hot glue gun
1. Apply 2-3 coats of spray paint to frames, wood, glass bottle and hook as per paint instructions. Allow to completely air dry.
2. Measure and mark on frame where you'd like glass bottle, hook and wood to be.
3. Use hot glue gun to adhere items to the frames.
4. Give everything a final coat of spray paint and allow to dry completely before using.
