DIY butterfly hair clip

My friend's daughter is having a butterfly themed party and I didn't want to miss out on any of the fun, so I made this paper butterfly hair clip to wear on the day. Wonder how long it'll last before Alexander rips it off my head?!
You'll need:

Butterfly punch
Paper (card stock)
Hot glue gun
Plain black barrette

Method:

1. Punch out about 10-12 butterflies

2. Gently fold the wings up to create a 3D effect.

3. Using a hot glue gun, stick butterflies individually onto the barrette. I position them in a cluster in flight pattern.

That is crazily cute Trishie!! I hope you attract butterflies. When we visited a butterfly attraction I learned that butterflies can see ultraviolet light and thus are often attracted to white! Look out :)
