Alexander at nine months is...
a busy bee. He gets into everything. And I mean everything; the drawer here, the cupboard there. Oh, what's this interesting thing on your wrist, mama? And how about I lie on Frankie's bed? This piece of paper looks delicious, and oooh that leaf is so crunchy and dirt is so much fun!
a wriggly worm. Can't sit still. I literally have to chase him out of nursery, down the hallway, into the kitchen and then the living room - just to get a pair of pants on him. Loves to roll over when I'm changing his nappies (great fun when it's a pooey one!).
a giggly boy. He is ticklish and loves it when I pull funny faces at him and wear silly things on my head. He is especially happy when he "flies" so we fly all the time. I so love his funny laugh. It is the happiest sound to my ears.
a hungry hippo. This boy loves his food. For breakfast, he has fruits with oats and a tablespoon of vanilla yoghurt. He eats couscous with meat and vegetables for lunch and dinner. His new food this month is beef bolognese. He has never once turned down a meal I've cooked and I hope he never will.
