Floral Friday : while walking

Hello, I'm back! (Did you miss me?)

This month, our little community of Floral Friday bloggers get out and about to photograph some flowers "while walking". As you may know, Stu, Alexander and I have been visiting friends and relatives in sunny Singapore and while we were there, we took a little side trip to Bintan Island in Indonesia. We stayed in beautiful resort on a clifftop by the sea. It was so lush and green and teeming with wildlife and I happily took the chance to photograph these beautiful hibiscus flowers during our stay there.

I will be sharing more photos and travel stories soon, so do stay tuned!
If you like to participate in this month's Floral Friday, simply photograph some flowers you saw while out walking and add the link to your post below. And be sure to check out everyone else's links too!

Floral Friday is a monthly photography project with different themes each month. This series is about fun and taking time out to smell the flowers. To play along next time, please email me for next month's theme.

Welcome back, Trishie.

In the Philippines, we call hibiscus "Gumamela". How you call it in Singapore? Is it different too in Australia or still hibiscus?

trishie said...

Hi Lili, Gumamela is such a pretty name for this pretty flower. It's still hibiscus in Australia
