Seven months and sitting

I know, we're a bit surprised by it too.
And did I mention he's started crawling too? And by crawling, I refer to his strange way of shuffling, sticking his bum up and launching himself forwards to get from point A to B. Pretty effective, mind you and extremely entertaining to watch. He first started doing that to get to Frankie's tail which she good-naturedly lets him pull and munch on.

And because he's getting mobile, he is starting to thin out a little. Not as chunky but still enough of a chub to retain a few rolls (which I absolutely love). Stay chubby, my love!
Next week, we're heading to Singapore so he can get to connect with his Asian side of the family. Pretty exciting huh? I'm looking forward to it but at the same time a bit nervous about the nine hour flight there so wish me luck and if you have any tips to share, it will be appreciated!

Wow, look at those eyes, super cute.

Tips on flight: bring his fave toys and some baby bites. Then again, I never been in a flight that long. All d best.

He is so cute! You are taking such wonderful photos of him. Hopefully your nine hour flight is at night so he'll sleep through most of it. But if he is old enough for that infant puff cereal, bring it. It will keep him busy. And nurse during takeoff and landing - it helps with the ear pressure.

Congrads, Alex, for being 7 months old! Charles does the same forward launch too when he wants to move on his tummy. So cute. Awwwww...I love chubby babies - I hope Charles would also be forever chubby. This is such a sweet update. Looking forward to more! Have a great time in SG!!

I can't get over how alert his eyes always are. He may be thinning out a bit, but those chubby arms and legs are so adorable still. So cute, Trishie!!!

How adorable!!! Your family in Singapore won't let him leave for sure. I didn't travel until my little one turned 2 years old (terrible 2, good timing!) Traveling with a baby might be easier as they sleep more often. Have a smooth and fun trip.

It's amazing to see how much he's grown and to realise how time is passing! I can still remember the post when you announced that you were pregnant. Time flies...

We flew to France with Jarvis when he was 10 months old. My must haves are: a sling (baby free hands), panadol (I gave a we sat down before take off and again before landing helps with the pain in their ears), and breast feeding (again as taking off and landing, if not breast than try a bottle)
So grown up already, I hate when they loose their fat rolls

Oh gosh, he's so cute! Don't worry about the flight, he'll be fine. Just remember to give him something to suck during take-off & landing. There may be some discomfort due to the air pressure :)
