Floral Friday - something romantic

Welcome to Floral Friday! In February, we're celebrating love with something romantic. I know I featured roses last month but for this theme, I simply cannot go past roses, especially ones that are a deep red as they scream romantic, passionate love to me!

These roses were gifted to me from Stu a couple of weeks ago when I was going through a particularly rough time when bub went through a sleep regression - I was having to wake up every few hours every night to soothe and comfort him and was seriously exhausted, both mentally and physically. So you can imagine just how delighted it was to receive a bouquet of red roses. I was so busy and tired then, by the time I got round to photographing them, the roses had already started to droop but they're still very beautiful in my eyes!
While we're on the topic of romance, I would also like to show you the beautiful flowers that my friend recently received from her boyfriend. For their one year anniversary, he sent to her twelve different roses, each one representing the different months they'd spent together. Isn't that the most romantic thing, ever? Awwwww.
Floral Friday is a monthly photography project with different themes each month. This series is about fun and taking time out to smell the flowers. To play along this month, simply add the link to your romantic flower post below. To play along next time, please email me for next month's theme.

Everyone needs a pick me up sometimes. I can only imagine how tiring it must be when the sleep regression hits. I have a few friends going through the same... let's just say that they have every right to be a bit grumpy haha.
