Review: IIIamasqua 'Destiny' nail varnish

I don't normally get too excited about nail varnish but I literally squealed with delight when this little beauty arrived in my mailbox last week. I couldn't wait to try it and was impatiently counting the hours before Alexander fell asleep. Since then, I've been spending way too much time admiring my nails, moving my fingers to watch the gold specks catch the light in all directions.
This is the first product of Illamasqua I have ever tried and I'm giving it FIVE STARS. Not only do I love the colour, this varnish was an absolutely dream to apply; it glides on to provide even and streak free coverage. I was really surprised that after one coat alone, it looked just like the colour in the bottle. Two coats gave it extra intensity and added depth to the gold speckles. And if you can't tell from the way I'm gushing, I love it love it love it!

This gorgeous forest green varnish fused with fine and hexagonal gold glitter is a limited edition shade by Illamasqua called Destiny and was created especially for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations. It is now available exclusively at Myer and retails at $22.50. This product was supplied to me for review however all opinions are my own.

oooh so lovely! I've currently got my toes covered in blue glittered polish - it's the little things in life! Any polish that goes on easy and does good coverage is friends with me!

So why is it green for CNY? Never mind just googled it :) So now I have to hunt for something green to wear!!! I myself am searching for a green iridescent like color...

@Alla: That's because it is the year of the wooden horse, so it's meant to represent the new life that leaves bring to a wooden bark in spring
