Haircare review

One of the things I miss most about my pregnant days is my full and luscious hair. Thanks to the pregnancy hormones, my hair was shiny, healthy and full of vitality without any effort on my part.

About a month ago, however, I noticed that I've started shedding hair! Apparently, this is due to the drop in estrogen levels after giving birth. While there's not too much I can do about the hair loss, I figured I better take better care of whatever remaining hair I have. When I told the lovely people at Buy Haircare Direct about my hair woes, they promptly sent me a couple of products to trial. Read on for my review...
De Lorenzo Intense Hair Moisturiser - This leave in hair lotion is super hydrating. I love that it moisturises my coarse, dry hair without weighing it down. It has a very mild scent that is hardly noticeable. I believe hydration is SO important as this preserves the health of the hair I do have and allows me to comb through my hair with minimal breakage. A great everyday product that I use after a wash and also on dry ends when I feel my hair needs extra TLC.

Nak Aromas oil - I've been using hair oil for years now, but have found many to be too rich or downright ineffective. Nak Aromas oil is simply brilliant; despite the name "oil", this product is not at all greasy. It is easily absorbed and nourishing. It adds a healthy shine to my hair reduces frizz and is an absolute 'must' before any heat styling. I love its light woody scent too!

While both products work well individually, I've been using one pump of each after every hair wash applying from mid-lengths to the ends before combing through. This little regime leaves my coarse, dry hair silky soft and smells wonderful.

Good news for YOU: from now until June 30th, 2013, Buy Haircare Direct is offering my readers the following discount codes:

5% off - min order $50 = lock5off14
10% off min order $100 = key10off14

These products were supplied to me for review however all opinions are my own.

Sorry to hear about your hair shedding! I hope that you will find back to a healthy balance. I've had a similar experience and it was horrifying.

Sorry to hear about your hair. Glad these products are working for you. I am going to share this post with my sister. She is always so worried about hair loss.

When my hair is in good condition I feel so much better aboout myself. It really needs a bit of love, it tends to take a bit of a beating in Summer! I hope your hair returns to its healthy glossy self :)

They sound like great products, especially the oil with the light woody scent. When it's cold outside, my hair tends to get a lot of static electricity and I like to use products to hydrate and keep the frizzies away!

I love hair oil! Use it regularly it really keeps my long hair healthy!
I haven't tried these ones, but I constantly try different ones.
Its a little scary how pregnancy and breastfeeding influence the hair.
I think oil and head massage as well as leaving oil in the hair on the beach helps a lot!
