Two years ago

Two years ago today, Stu and I got married in the beautiful Hunter Valley. I was so excited and happy that day my jaws ached from smiling too much. I remember looking at Stu while exchanging vows and noticing that he had tears in his eyes. Even now as I think back to that day, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Ah! It was the happiest day of my life...still is.
Two years ago today, I carried a pretty Spring bouquet of lisianthis, roses and hydrangeas which I gave to Stu's mum before leaving for Singapore for celebrations part two. She pressed what flowers she could and with the stems of the hydrangeas, proceeded to propagate them.
Two years on today, one lone hydrangea cutting survived. And for the first time, it produced bunches of sweet pink flowers just in time for our anniversary day. (Are you getting goosebumps too?)
Two years ago, Stu became my husband; today, he is my best friend, a loving father to our darling son, and still the love of my life. I love you Stu x

Oh, yes, I got goosebumps too... I could anticipate what you would say... and I thought "wow, no, it's incredible, did it really happen? (about the flowers)" Amazing! You always write in such a beautiful way! You looked extremely beautiful on that special day! And I loved the flowers! I try to press flowers too, but never tried to plant them... I think it would be a great idea! Great post, I know you will go on being very happy because you have love in your life! denisesplanet com
