In the last few months of my pregnancy, I was so huge and stretched to the limit, I was totally expecting stretch marks to appear on my body. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I made it through the pregnancy without a single stretch mark in sight!
One might call it good luck or good genes, but I think that it has a lot to do with my diligently massaging on Urban Rituelle's stretch mark cream every single morning and night in the final months leading up to Alexander's birth. This cream is rich and luxuriously creamy, and smells like a dream. I massage it onto my swollen belly, thighs and breasts after a warm shower - it was my daily ritual and treat. I have continued to use it even now postnatally as it is so hydrating and lovely.
Urban Rituelle is an Australian made bath and body care brand based in Sydney. Their Bubba Organics range is completely free of synthetic colours and fragrances and contains only essential oils that are considered safe for use during pregnancy. Their products are beautifully packaged - making them the perfect gift for mums and mums-to-be.
Apart from the stretch mark cream, I was also lucky enough to receive Urban Rituelle's Nursery Mist to trial and review. This product is delicately scented with chamomile, lavender and calendulla. I spray it in the air after each nappy change to keep the room smelling nice and fresh, as well as onto Alexander's linen to better help him drift into sleep.
