Flowers from the garden #1

Spring is just days away now and I am so excited to see the first of the beautiful Spring flowers in bloom in my garden.

These clusters of pretty pink Rondeletia flowers are bringing little butterflies into my backyard in droves. And I know as more and more flowers appear, this little shrub down at the furthest corner of my backyard will turn almost entirely pink and the rainbow lorikeets will soon descend to feed on the sweet nectar.

My Indian hawthorn sits in the front garden and already the shrub is nearly completely covered in clusters of perfumed white flowers and is quite a (beautiful) sight to behold. I always like the first of their blooms - so fresh and white, clean and bright - oh wait, that's edelweiss.

What flowers are blooming in your garden right now?

What beautiful flowers! Right now our butterfly bushes are blooming so we have lots of butterfly and hummingbird visitors. It's so nice to watch them out the window!

It's always so pretty when the flowers begin to bloom. There's construction going on in our building now so the gardens downstairs have been blocked off and neglected.

The flowers are beautiful! I am enjoying the remaining days with blooming flowers in my garden but as autumn is approaching, it won't be for much longer.

These pics are just lovely! Sadly, summer is drawing to a close here in the U.S. :( I do enjoy the fall's beauty. One of my favorite flowers is the mum, and mine have started to bud. It wouldn't be fall without them! xo T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

Oh gosh I'm such a bad gardener, I don't have a clue what my flowers are called. I do love your pretty flowers though. I could literally smell them from here by looking at them :D

Beautiful flower photos, Trishie! I miss being able to pick fresh flowers outside! I guess that's the downside of living in New York :(
