In this moment

Sunflowers at Wolgan Valley
reading... What to expect when you're expecting. A great introduction to pregnancy and motherhood and answered so many of my questions.

excited about...having afternoon tea at Gunner's Barracks today!

ordering..baby things - so many things to buy, so little time.

planning...my baby shower with 2 of my favourite girlfriends.

watching...Masterchef Australia. Only because there's not much else to watch.

dreaming about...really bizarre, strange things.

baking...a meatloaf for dinner tonight.

feeling...pretty smug that I fell pregnant at the 'right' time. This cold weather has been great for my swelling belly.

wanting...to go out on a special date night with Stu before baby arrives.

grateful for...supportive friends, family, work, good health, having so many things to laugh about.

loving...this almost Spring-like weather...in the middle of Winter!

collecting...glass jars for upcycling and crafting.

What is happening in your moments?

I read the same book - What To Expect When You Are Expecting...And I bought the Aussie version while I was in Sydney in Mar. It's my go-to reference when I want to check out any niggling problems or to read up on the baby at XX Week. Can't wait for our afternoon tea session! See you soon :)

I love meatloaf and Master Chef. Now I'm wondering what the Australian one is like and how it differs from the American version.

That is a really great book! I read it from cover to cover over and over again. I think I had the entire book memorized by the time my daughter was born. Enjoy your afternoon tea... it sounds lovely! And I was also very pregnant during the cold, winter months and it was perfect timing.

Have you got what to expect in the first year? That's good too. Hopefully they've revised it. It's been a while since I read it. I hope you get that date with Stu. I'm looking forward to a weekend with nothing much planned. That's my favourite kind :D

Lovely post. Sounds like you're busy nesting and making the most of your pregnancy. Right now we're loving the warm, dry weather we're having in the UK currently. x

It's so nice the book you are reading, I know it - and also ordering baby items and planning a baby shower! Friends and family are so important, glad you have them by your side! A date is also great! And I totally understand that you are watching Masterchef Australia just because there's nothing else on TV! I used to watch Masterchef UK too!

I just gave away two boxes of jars. If you were in Brisbane you could have had them. I too am watching MC, cooking and trashiness all in one.
