Thrifting, these days

After a self-imposed ban on thrifting for months, I finally caved in and bought these pretty things.
Vintage tea plates adorned with beautiful flowers - I can never resist them. I usually go for the ones that are marked down because they're missing a tea cup and are just sitting idly and forlornly on their own.
A couple of sweet little crystal vases to add to my glass collection.
And a selection of books - since completing last year's 12 things challenge, I've decided still want to continue to read the classics and other serious literature but I can't do without my light girly chick lit either. I might be a bit too optimistic but I'm hoping to squeeze in some reading time even after baby arrives.

I love what you picked up! So pretty. You'll have time to read. I became obsessed with parenting books. They don't come with a manual, so I went out and bought some LOL.

What pretty plates. My sister used to read during the night feeds with her babies - but only chick lit, nothing too arduous! x

The tea plates are gorgeous~~ I think it's cute to have a mixture of designs rather then having a matchy match set.
