Shopping in Singapore

No trip to Singapore is complete without a bit of shopping. In fact, Stu and I like to do an entire year's worth of shopping in 1 week. Stu likes to stockpile on business shirts and jeans (Lucky for him, Hugo Boss had a huge 40% off sale so he stocked right up)!

For me, it's all about the shoes. Charles and Keith is my absolute favorite shoe shop - affordable styles copied right off the runway in my size 34 (yes, I have little feet) which I simply wear to death for a year or so before replacing them with new styles. Here are this year's haul.
I also like to treat myself to a designer bag. Last year I bought this gorgeous Celine. I wasn't planning on any bag purchases this time but I fell in love with this Chloe number. It's adorable and fun and perfect for days and nights when I don't want to be weighed down with stuff.
All those hours spent picking out shirts for Stu at Hugo Boss meant I had a little looksee for myself too. These tops and silk skirts were 40% off and a dream to wear - soft and breathable fabrics for work and everyday, I could live in them.
I'm also delighted with my cutlery purchases - 10 porcelain spoons with a sweet cherry print and a set a 8 bamboo chopsticks with the most gorgeous flower print - all at the bargain price of $2! Noodle-eating has never looked so good.
Till next time, Singapore!

Singapore is shopping heaven! I remember just walking down the street with store after store. I love the cutlery picked up, those spoons are so adorable and that bag!! Swooning here.

Oh and about the location from my previous post, those pictures were taken at the Domain Chandon Winery in Yarra Valley, Victoria. Definitely worth a visit if you are ever in town.

What an awesome haul! Those chopsticks and spoon are too adorable. I should have a look-see when I go back to Singapore - it never occurs to me to get homeware. I do stock up on bras and shoes because they are expensive in Tokyo.

I'm so thankful we have Charles and Keith in Dubai. :) I remember entering a shop whose name I forgot in Singapore where I absolutely wanted to buy all the clothes in it and transform the place into a personal walk-in closet. The lady stylist in the shop was also so friendly. I will definitely go back there for shopping and for food.

You sure had a great time shopping in SG! You've a great taste in shoes though. I like all your picks from Charles & Keith. I use to buy their shoes a lot but lately I found it kind of uncomfortable. I start to move towards Nine West and Steve Madden. Sometimes Aldo too.
Enjoy all your great items. That Chloe is definitely for keeps =)

It feels like I can't escape shopping. I'm trying really hard to stop but this post is making me itch to buy a new pair of shoes! I've bought a few pairs of Charles & Keith shoes when I was holidaying in Malaysia. They are pretty good except one pair that made my big toe bleed.

I didn't know you have size 34 feet as well. I used to shop a lot at Charles & Keith because everything is so darn expensive in NZ. I'm definitely spoiled for choice here but it's still ridiculously difficult to find shoes small enough to fit my feet.
