Yu Ming sells Mekhala's range of luxury skincare products in this online store. And she was kind enough to send me a lovely pack of Mekhala products to trial. You know about my new consciousness with regards to using natural products, right? Mekhala's wholesome products ticked all the boxes for me in terms of their no artificial flavours, colours, chemicals, fragrances or preservatives, and cruelty -free principle.
My personal favourite products were those from the Young Rice Milk range, which includes shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
My hair just seems to soak in the goodness of young rice milk during each wash, leaving it shiny, smooth and healthy looking, which is no mean feat in this dry weather we're having!.
This body lotion was the star product, in my opinion. I usually skip body lotions and oils in summer, I hate the oily, sticky residue especially when combined with perspiration (lovely...not!). Mekhala's young rice milk body lotion has a milky, almost liquid consistency which was absorbed instantly. It leaves ZERO residue, no oiliness no greasiness, yet skin does feel softer and smoother - a real gem of a product.
Oh, and I need to mention that the smell was very lovely - like mild coconut rice. Mmmmmm.

Looks like an interesting beauty brand, love the natural ingredients and the real rice you used for the photos!
Rice as an ingredient indeed catches attention. And with mild coconut, it smells delicious, actually. Haha! :)
Happy weekend! Hope you can visit me again too dear!

It is hard to find all natural skin care so you've done well here! The thing I like most about natural products is that they usually smell pretty of natural oils and fragrances :) Thanks for the review

I always try to buy cruelty free & as natural as possible, so I'm definitely intrigued by this brand. Love the way you photographed the products too, really beautiful!
It seems most Asian skincare (& makeup) is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, it's just a shame it's so hard to get ahold of in the UK!
those look like they smell wonderful :)
I am so going to check this out--I have heard about the rice/black rice for the skin, and that it's amazing for it.
