Pacifica gift set giveaway

I don't know about you, but certain smells and fragrances have the ability to transport me to a different time, place or memory; the smell of rosemary now reminds me of my wedding which took place on Remembrance Day. Lavender, on the other hand, bring me back to beautiful lavender fields I visited at the Barossa Valley.

Recently, I was given the chance to trial Pacifica's Hawaiian Ruby Guava fragrance. This gorgeous fruity sweet scent immediately brings to my mind the picture of a warm tropical island resort lined with swaying palms. I'm certain if I tried hard enough, I could even feel the warm sand on my feet too!
Pacifica's perfume blends are developed with high quality ingredients including essential and natural oils from around the world. Their fragrance range comes in 3 forms, all of which I love but for different reasons - the spray is great because it's lightly scented and so easy to use, while the roll on and solid perfume I find to be stronger smelling and longer lasting plus so handy to have in my handbag.

Today, Pacifica is giving you the chance to win this Tuscan Blood Orange gift set- containing roll-on perfume, body butter and lip quench! So you can be transported to your own tropical island day dream too, plus smell really nice and have lovely soft lips and skin.
To enter, simply tell me as a comment on this post, what particular scent brings forth a rush of memories for you? You get 1 extra point if you 'like' my Facebook Page, plus another extra point if you follow Under Lock and Key on GFC. Just let me know when you have done either or both.
Giveaway ends next Friday 7th December 5pm EST and is open to international readers. Good luck!

Update: The winner is Vanisha! Congrats, I will be in touch shortly. Thank you all for entering!

It's so hard to name a scent as those rushes often catch me off-guard. But if I have to name something, I'd say the smell of cake baking in the often, as I used to do that with my mom each year.

Great giveaway, by the way! It can be so hard to find natural bath and body items, so I'd love to win this:)

I know this sounds crazy, but the smell of certain lipsticks can take me back to when I was a little girl and used to play dress up with my mom's lipstick. She passed away over 20 years ago and I still love that smell.

On my 2010 trip to Rome I used a cucumber and watermelon based fragrance and every time I smell a perfume, lotion or body spray with either of these two in it takes me straight back there! From now on I'll always spray a new scent while away to bring back memories xx Tina

Liked your FB page...and thanks for this giveaway...the names of the scents sound so amazing...ruby guava? Tuscan blood orange? Yes pls!

Scent memory: Chanel No.19 always reminds me of my mum and I never got tired of her showing me her mini Chanel perfume collection squirreled away in her drawers when I was just a wee six yr old. I thought No.19 was so romantic because my dad would always bring that one home after a business trip.

I'm your follower here! There are so many good smells..the ocean, mown grass and a cake in the oven but scents, they're different. As a teenager I loved musky scents, now I love green tea and citrussy smells, fresh and zingy with a touch of a flower..orange blossom or frangipani. I love lavender and rose too.

Mumsie will kill me for saying this but there are two smells that immediately make me think of her. 1. Oil of Olay moisturiser, and 2. Vermouth! Such an 80s drink but then I was an 80s child. Cleary vermouth is how she survived our infancy!

HI Doll! I love Pacific fragrances! They are all just amazing! I have been using a gardenia scented Pacifica fragrance balm for years! Gardenia is def a scent that transports me back to when my dad would take me to see the opera on very special Sundays every once in a while. After the opera, we would always walk to an outdoor art garden that was filled with gardenias. Wow- thanks for making me remember this memory! Love this giveaway and the idea of it! It's not particularly fancy - but for me it's sunscreen. We were lathered with the stuff every summer at my nan's beach house and so now every time I smell sunscreen it = summer!

The smell of fresh coffee in the morning brings back child hood memories, and makes me happy in the morning.
Vanilla (a real good one, not the cheap synthetic ones!) always calms me and feels sooooo comforting!
I don't know what it reminds me off, but it must trigger something very nice.
I liked your FB already a while ago.

Vanilla!
A real good one (not the nasty cheap synthetic ones) just always brings me to a happy place.
There must be some happy early memories triggered by that scent!
It just makes me feel very comfortable and happy.

Other favourite scents, are fresh baked bread and coffee.

I liked your FB page already a while ago. ;)

I really love the scent of birch trees. It reminds me of the childhood summers spent at our cottage, going to sauna and the scent of fresh "vasta". It's basically bouquet of birch trees branches with loads of leaves, and you whip your back with it. It's done with just enough volume to make blood flow and to get rid of bad stuff in your system. Must sound weird to you, and I'm horrible at explaining in english, but it works! :)

And the other scent that I really love it fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Can't explain it, may have to do with childhood and grandmas.. The make/made the best sweet treats.

Love the scent of Lavender because it reminds me of my Mom who already passed away and how she took care of even the smallest detail. She would put some lavender under our pillows and sometimes on our cabinets and if we don't have the fresh ones she always have the spray variety. The smell of lavender reminds me of her love and my childhood.

Certainly any perfume which smells like rose, a sharp rose, will remind me of my grandmother. I also love orange blossom as well as orange rind in perfumes, but all I can pinpoint about them is that they place me in a calm state. Completely agree with you and understand your point about fragrances. Thank you for the opportunity as well! LeanS12(at)gmail(dot)com
