Following the success of using Sukin Organic's natural skin care products last month, I was pleased to hear that they have since launched a range of products made specially for sensitive skin. And I was more than thrilled when the nice people at Sukin sent me the new Sukin Sensitive Cleansing Gel and Sukin Sensitive Facial Moisturiser to trial!
In the past, when my skin got irritated or dry, my first reaction would be to slather more products on. The fancier the ingredients, the better, right? Actually, the answer is a big NO.
These days, when I find my skin to be particularly fragile and irritated, I immediately pare
down my skincare regime and go back to basics with a mild cleanser
and chemical-free moisturizer. And my skin actually loves it!
The Sukin Sensitive range
is all about gentle cleansing and moisturising using active ingredients
such as chamomile, aloe vera and cucumber to calm, soothe and balance
sensitive skin. I tried the cleansing gel and found it to lather well despite being soap free. It also cleaned gently and effectively, leaving my skin clean but not tight.
The star product, in my opinion, of the Sukin Sensitive range is the facial moisturiser which was deeply hydrating but not at all oily. It was absorbed quickly and easily on my skin, leaving it soft and smooth and calm. I've been using it both day and night.
So sensitive skin types, you should rejoice! Sukin's Sensitive range of products will work to calm your skin and give you naturally beautiful skin...
