It makes me happy to possess new things because they present seemingly endless opportunities and ways of using them. Yeah, sure - new things get old too. But for now, they are a novelty; something fresh to play with. Here are a few new things in my life, lately.
I have been hankering for this scalloped edge dinner set since May. Took me all this time to source and purchase them. I can tell you they are absolutely worth the wait. I am biding for Spring to arrive - they will be perfect for a garden party.
Dainty little gold rings to adorn my fingers with.
Blue suede shoes. They were already on sale when I saw them, while paying for them, I was told they were a further 20% off. Don't you love it when that happens? It's also awesome because they look so good with my floral skirt.
My old pair of sunnies finally conked out on me after 2 years of regular use. I thought it would be hard to replace them as I loved them so much. But one look at this pair of Chanels, I was totally sold. It's the quilted leather sides that did it for me.

Ooh, nice new things. I adore the gold love ring, that is so gorgeous. My new sunnies were £14 in the local chemist - I am totally jealous of your chanel beauties! I love new stuff but our house is small...I recently bought a simple necklace from etsy which I adore, it makes me happy every time I wear it. x

Oh wow--those sunnies are FAB! I've never seen ones with leather sides before! But maybe it's because I'm a sunglass noob (I always end up spending money on makeup instead of clothing and accessories :P)
