And the thrifting continues

I haven't done a thrifting post for a while, but that does not mean I have not been thrifting lately.

In fact, the opposite is true -I have been visiting various op shops quite regularly and like an addict, I crave it everyday and I'm constantly thinking about which op shops I will visit. Come the weekends, I wake up super excited because 'OMG I'm about to go to Vinnies or Salvation Army'.

And when I'm actually there, my heart races when I came across a gorgeous plate or a piece of beautiful glass/crystal ware. That's pretty much all I look for these days. I don't want to venture beyond these because I'm terrified I'll get out of control. Here are some of the goodies from my latest thrifting expeditions.
Tell me this is totally normal, right? And what is your shopping addiction?

Hi Trishie - you don't seem to be following Carole's Chatter anymore - which is, of course, entirely over to you. I just wondered if there was a particular reason. Anything I could do better? If you had time to give me some feedback on Carole's Chatter I would appreciate it.

Happy blogging

You always come up with some such pretty finds through your thrifting. Sadly I don't have the eye or the patience for it.

I totally hear you on feeling pride when I see Asians looking good in the media!

Thrifting is so cool,
I wonder why my hubby is bored by it,
maybe its exclusively a girl thing.

They're all so adorable! I love vintage china..and glasses / crystals. :) Nice finds!

I thrift a lot sometimes, and usually find clothes but also dishes. It's so great to find something that you know would cost a lot in retail shops or vintage stores, and end up paying only couple dollars / euros for it ^^

LOL! You remind me of my parents who were at one stage, absolutely nuts about garage sales and auctions. Goodness, their place is packed to the gills with their treasures. I, on the other hand, prefer consignment store. Still get the odd heart palpitations ;P

all of those are GORGEOUS! I love finding pretty plates and dishes. Unfortunately I've had to hold off because we'll be moving in a couple months and I hate moving fragile things--- I worry too much! I can't believe your finds, you lucky girl!
