Strawberries and cream cookies

This is one of those crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside kind of cookie.
I will not be posting the recipe here as you can quite easily hop on over to Smitten Kitchen and oogle at her creations, which looks way better than mine, by the way. All I will say is make sure you use really overripe strawberries - mine were not squishy enough so they did not make the strawberry puddles that I was so hoping for. Also, do not overwork the dough, which I think I did, as it was a tad chewy.
But in spite of this, they still tasted pretty darn good. And that's the important thing.
