Little things, lately

Life has been quiet lately; I could get used to this lazy living quite easily. The weather has been kind - no rain and heaps of sun, just the way I like it. Here are a few other random little things that have brought a smile to my face recently.

Plates adorned with roses make me happy. My vintage plate collection is growing! I realise I'm particularly fond of these.
A new friend for Frankie. Is it wrong that I wanted to keep this for myself?
The perfect little red cape coat. Chanced upon this, tried it on for fun and ended up loving it.
Beautiful shiny pomegranate seeds. Have you eaten these before? They are sour, juicy and strangely addictive. I will only eat these at home because I like to suck the juices out of them and spit out the seeds like a classy lady.
What little things are making you happy?

Hi Trishie, I found your lovely blog today and have enjoyed reading it over my morning pot of tea. I too love beautiful things, collecting rero children's pieces and any vintage is my vice. My passion is designing and making infants clothing. My latest project an almost complete is a fibro beach shack that I have been renovating on the central coast. I had so much fun choosing all the bits and pieces to decorate the shack...Love your pretty roses plates. I do hope you pop on over to my blog and have a look around. Roberta

I love it that you collect those plates. And I've not yet tried to eat pomegranate like that. (only with desserts, or as a drink). It sounds and looks delicious!!

I do like your vintage plate collection, they are very pretty. I have tried pomegranate and I have to say they were a little strange to eat. I like the flavour but the seed thing not so much. I hope you have a lovely weekend. :)

I've only tasted pomegranate in juices and such, should definitely buy fresh ones someday and try your ladylike technique. :)

Oh, my! That little toy for Frankie is soooooo cute! I might of had a hard time not keeping it for myself too. But, then I probably would have simply gone and thoroughly photographed it before giving it to my pup. =)

Did Frankie enjoy receiving it?
