Spicers Clovelly Estate - Sunshine Hinterland

Spicers Clovelly Estate
Stu and I had a very lazy and all-round good time at Montville, located in the Sunshine Hinterland, Queensland. Montville is a quirky little town lined with cute little cafes and art galleries. We stayed at Spicers Clovelly Estate, which was quiet and lovely and filled with red and green trees.

It pretty much rained the whole time (for much for the sunshine hinterland!). But all that meant was we spent most of our time indulging in our favourite wet weather things. First on the itinerary was a massage for me and facial for him at the onsite Spa Anise (divine!) We then continued the spa experience in the room soaking in the jacuzzi.
Soaking in the spa bath
Pretty much throughout the day, we simply munched on yummy things.
Parisian breakfast
Sampling local cheese
And drank bubbly drinks
Champagne!
And in the afternoons we would curl up with a book from Spicer's well stocked library and read to our hearts content. Bliss.

Trishie, this looks divine! I'm sorry the weekend didn't quite turn out as planned, but you definitely made the most of it! Sometimes cosy weekends like that in a gorgeous accommodation are the best! Those trees looks stunning!

I always let rain ruin my day.. I love that you turned it around and used the rain to your advantage to just sit back, relax, and enjoy! I need to keep that in mind for the next rainy day I have :)
