More cooking from the last 6 weeks.
I realise this
12 things exercise has allowed for a bit of scrutiny into the things I cook and eat, which isn't something I normally consciously think about. Stu and I are a mixed raced couple so I often get asked about the type of food I cook. Is it all Asian? Or Western? Maybe fusion?

| Week 17 - French onion soup |

| Week 21 - Curried squid with snowpeas |
Thing is, I cook whatever I feel like eating, so the answer is all of the above. Making a stir fry is about as commonplace for me as cooking up a roast dinner with three vegetables, I forget this probably isn't the same for other families.
What about you? Do your meals consist of mainly just 1 type of cuisine? Or do you mix it around like me?

Chinese couple. And everyone assumes all I do is Chinese food. So wrong.
Hi cutie :)
Now I got hungry :) So delicious dinnes you have made :)
In my family we should be a bit more creative and vary som more :) Our favorite is chicken, and we try to eat fish a least one a week :)
Thank you so much for your lovely comment at my blog :) Now we are ready to celebrate our National Day :)
Have a nice day :)
Sunshine and smiles to you :)
Oh my goodness, all of those dishes look amazing! I cook many types of food as well... my favorites are actually italian and mexican. :)
So delicious sweetie
We mix it up a lot, sometimes typical swedish food and sometimes other food. I wouldn´t like to eat from one category all the time. :-)
Eating is actually what I love most when we travel - to taste all the new flavours! :-)
I'm such a bad cook hehe this photos put me to shame! xx
i love french onion soup ! :)
too bad i can't make it
great blog :>
We love different kinds of cuisine in our household - it all depends on what is fresh and what we feel like eating at the time!
Those meals look amazing! I don't really like cooking. I wish I did. I make whatever is quick and easy. This week it's vege soup! x
I tend to make hearty vegetarian meals in the winter, and light salads in the summer and stick to the same thing. My bf makes a lot of asian cuisine or casseroles.. so.. I suppose so!
So delicious!!!! :)

We are a biracial family - Kiwi + Islander. Sadly I have to leave out some ingredients when I cook Islander dishes. Especially, coconut cream! I love coconut cream. Sigh. It's meaty dishes thanks to my partner's Scottish-Kiwi links.
Mostly, we meet half-way, which means Asian dishes. LOL. I'm actually okay with this because the Chinese + Korean did migrate successfully to my Pacific Island which is why there are Asian last names and influences.
The food looks so good!!! I'm living on campus right now so it's a little hard to cook yummy meals.
Thanks for dropping by my blog- Would you like to follow each other on GFC? :)

Oh we mix it up all the time. My mom's from the Philippines and dad's from here, so it just depends on what we're in the mood for. We can easily go from stir fry to roast beef. Haha, which is great since I like both!

All those meals look amazing Trishie! You and Stu must have some happy tummies :) Hubby and I are both Chinese and I do cook alot of Chinese cause it's easy and we find comfort in the food we grew up with. I also cook Korean and Italian quite often just cause we love it.

I love French Onion Soup. According to my personal chef (my bf), it is the easiest to make but hard to perfect it.
This looks so delicious! Esspecially the seafood rice noodles. I'm hungry now!
I'm totally blown away by the different dishes. You obviously have a passion for cooking. I don't suppose you work in the food industry? I love Italian dishes while hubby and daughter prefer Asians. So I'm a bit like you.
You have been on a cooking roll! Good for you. Everything looks great.

Well my family is Chinese so when my parents cook, they cook Chinese. When I make my own food, it's usually salad, pasta or potato bake, so more western I suppose!
