In the movie, Marilyn Monroe was portrayed as unreliable, profoundly unhappy and insecure but at the same time, she was vulnerable, childlike, insanely beautiful and magnetic in her charms. I'll admit I fell in love with her during the course of the movie last night and in true stalker fashion, spent hours googling her and today I borrowed one of her movies on DVD.I could go on about how much I enjoyed the movie and what a fabulous actress Michelle Williams is , but I think you really should just go and watch it for yourself.

I adore Marilyn and I dying to see this movie. I have heard Michelle Williams is fabulous in the role.

wow... gonna have to see this! there's a cafe around the corner from my old house that my partner and I used to go for breakfast sometimes... it's got pictures of Marilyn Monroe covering all of the walls! and there's a little corner tucked away with newspaper clippings about her, too.

Marilyn was more of a voluptuous woman, so I was surprised that Michelle Williams was picked for this role, but since I've heard good things...I'll have to check it out.

It really was a beautiful film, in every way. She was the perfect Marilyn! BTW, you should check out a film called "Niagra" (1954) featuring a pretty different Marilyn. Not at all sweet ;)
