Quiet times

Oh boy, I really love spending time in the countryside. The air is fresher, the land stretches far and wide, even the grass looks greener. I finally had time to read my new book and take slow walks along the river and in the bushland. The river was way too cold for swimming though, which is a real pity as the water was crystal clear. But it gives us the perfect excuse to return in summer...

In other news, the winner of the Picos skirt giveaway is Kate of Recent Treats...congrats! Big thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway, I wish you better luck next time.

I absolutely love the countryside and the idea of going to a log cabin and swimming in a crystal clear river is about the best thing. ever.

Bootyfull. Southern Slang is the best way to describe the photos.
Does that sign mean cows for the next five miles? Too funny!
Show me more, the river is stunning.

Trishie, please take me with you! We can do a little exchange -- you take me with you next time, and when I get over to my boyfriend's family's villa in Tuscany, I'll invite you along. Sound good? These photos you took are just incredible. I bet it's hard to leave this gorgeous place.
