Sick days are for...

I've been away from the blogging front for a while because I have been fighting off a sinus infection. I think it fell in love with me and refused to go away, so it took a good few days of coaxing before it dejected walked away. But hurrah for me!

I know that sick days are for resting, but really 12-14 hours of sleep per day is quite enough for me. Daytime TV holds zero appeal to me so I spent the rest of my time baking, eating, reading Frankie, drinking tea and working on my cross stitch. For some reason, counting squares and arranging berries on muffin mix was strangely therapeutic to me.

What do you do on your sick days?

Wow, you're so active when you're sick hehe. These look absolutely delicious, wow! I'm just a lazy bum moping around the house or crashing on the couch when I'm sick.

Absolutely nothing--I pity myself in front of the television and tell the cat to pity me too.

Your muffins look delicious! I hope you feel better. =)

Glad you're feeling better... I almost got a cold last week from getting up too early and running around busy all day... I usually drink lots of elderflower tea, if you can get it in Australia do so, it really helps! (We haven't found it in the US yet, so we imported a big bag of tea from Germany. We're still amazed that the customs officers didn't arrest us for alleged drug trafficking...)

Greetings,

Poor you, that sucks so much! Frankie is a good distraction! I am lucky enogh to work from home so I don't really pick anything up from other people and rarely get sick.

When I do get sick I find that watching my favourite movies and knitting (or cross stich) are a good way to pass the time, the last time i was feeling unwell my best friend came over and made me pancakes!

Hope you are feeling better soon and you are no too bored! xx

Ooooh, so ambitious when you're sick! I'm in awe of your determination! Sickness calls for hot tea, with tons of honey, or coffee with tons of creamer... I never clean when I'm sick, so my house becomes a disaster area.... These days I just go about daily life- but much slower and begrudgingly, because the hubby is deployed. But when he's here, I definitely let him wait on me, which he so lovingly does.
