Time for tea

One of my favourite things to do is to have a cup of tea first thing on a cold, cold morning. With the curtains still drawn and tiny rays of light peeping in, I sip my tea while waiting patiently for my body to rouse itelf out of sleep.

These days though, it's too hot for tea in Sydney. These pictures just make me wish the weather was a bit cooler, the air a bit more chilly so I can sit down and enjoy my favourite cup of tea. Do you drink tea?

It's the only thing I ever drink.

Hi Tina
I'm a big fan of iced tea too, but you're right, the experience is so different. ice tea serves to quench thirst, whereas hot tea, it's calming and stimulating all at the same time.

I'd have to agree with juanitatortilla about the plain water being a rarity. I live off the stuff, hot or iced, summer or winter, it doesn't matter. My favourite hot tea is Twinings Earl Grey or Lemon Fragranced. :)
