Bangers and Mash

I wanted to make myself and Stu a nice dinner last night so I went a looking at the local supermarket and found these:Spring Hill's medals winning gourmet sausages! They were a bit pricier than the usual sausages but there were so many varieties that caught my eyes - the chicken/porcini, the beef/sundried tomato, and the chicken/rocket but I decided on these pork/fennel/chili ones purely because it contained chili - I wanted my dinner to have a bit of 'kick' to it.

So I picked up a few nicely wash potatoes with it and went home to make bangers and mash.
They were delicious! Not too oily, the pork was lean, the fennel added just a slight liquorice taste and I could definitely feel the heat of the chili. Well worth the extra dollars. Now I can't wait to try all the other ones!
